A Time Release Study Virtual Workshop delivered to Bolivia within the framework of the SECO-WCO Global Trade Facilitation Programme
From 7 to 8 March 2023, the World Customs Organization (WCO) virtually-delivered a Workshop on Time Release Study (TRS) to the Customs Administration of Bolivia (Aduana Nacional – AN) within the framework of the SECO-WCO Global Trade Facilitation Programme (GTFP). This two-day mission is part of a blended activity aimed at providing guidance for the national working group on the implementation of the TRS in Bolivia.
With the participation of 10 Customs officials, the main outcome of this activity was the review and adjustment of the business process maps and questionnaires, as well as initial preparations for the pilot programme to be carried out in April 2023. Furthermore, the WCO experts reinforced the participants’ understanding of the WCO tools and guidelines.
With the results of this successful mission, the Customs Administration of Bolivia has completed the steps towards implementing the TRS, and has secured the optimal instruments to deliver accurate results during the study.
The Customs Administration of Bolivia and the WCO, through the SECO-WCO Global Trade Facilitation Programme (GTFP), are highly engaged in implementing the TRS as part of the national efforts to foster economic development, enhancing the investment climate and national competitiveness.
